Fisherman Sweater

This collection draws from Guernsey's folklore, rooted in its history as a fishing island famous for knitwear. Wives and partners of sailors would knit sweaters for their loved ones, eagerly awaiting their return from sea. Legend has it that when one husband didn't come back, his wife identified his body by recognizing a dropped stitch in his sweater. Whether factual or not, the tale holds a poignant sentiment.
